We were delighted to host our annual networking event at the Edgbaston Park Hotel on February 16th!
It was a brilliant opportunity to meet colleagues, so often usually just met over email and zoom, and learn about the many incredible projects they are working on currently! Talks included Dr Naomi Black's introduction to the many research activities being conducted at the University of Warwick and Dr Caroline Gillett's talk about Patient and Public Involvement. This is a pivotal part of our work at DHL, namely through the GO Hildas.
It was also a pleasure to award the prizes for our annual DHL essay competition, aimed at sixth form students who are interested in pursuing a career in Medicine. Indira Basu is pictured below, accepting her award for her essay from DHL Student Tier Lead, Harshitha Naidu.
